If you answered yes to all the points on the poster, you have come here: to the end. If you have arrived, it is reasonable to assume that you are prepared to teach about the controversial issue. 

Mind you: Just because you reached the end of the tool doesn’t mean your teaching will be conflict-free. Teaching about controversial issues always involves a risk, something that you can never completely avoid. 

But this tool will at least help you highlight the specific challenges you face when teaching controversial issues. Hopefully, you can therefore now feel more prepared to carry out your teaching.
